It’s a school project. La maison du bio is an organic restaurant in Paris. The owner wants to create a web site which could reflect their philosophy : eat healthy at good price in an urban and casual place.
This website I crafted with Bright colorful pictures, modern typography, large space between two sections, simple interface design and user-centered contents let users dive into the core of the philosophy of “la maison du bio”.
My goal is to create a showcase website for a bio restaurant in Paris. Research is a must before the design phase. I tried to note all ideas that I found on post-it and choose the best ones amoung that. Then give them an optimised structure of website.
When the sitemap was defined, I entrered to the wireframing design. After several tests and modification, I have found the final solution of my design.
So it's time to find the relevent visual style. Green color is behalf of bio. The typo Roboto et bold image mean modern.
The home screen is designed to have everything on the website accessible.
Users can reserve online, explore menus, find custom cooking workshops and know more about who provides the fresh and healthy ingredients for their menu items.
The links are accentuated by colorful button to make users get to other pages easily while browsing the page.
Users could always get easily practical information such as opening hours, address and contact information on home page.
In the menu section, you can find the actual recommendation of chief. You can also browse the details of all menus as you are sitting at a table in the restaurant. Need to reserve a table now? Just click on the “reserve button”.
Attend a cooking workshop or just try a recipe found on this page, clients could make choice easily on this page.
Get more information about your restaurant, such as its history, its team, its providers of ingredients. You can understand the core philosophy of “ la maison du bio” through this page.
