One non-sterilized cat couple could breed a large number of kittens, many of whom have a miserable no care life . sterilization is the only way to prevent those tragedies. To make cat owners aware of that, we have realized a two minutes 10 scenes animated video.
I have realized 3 of them: the first scene: meeting, the second one: wedding and the last one : call to action.
To make this video funny and original, we design all scenes and characters based on origami, so you will rarely find rounded outline in this video.
It’s the first time two cats meet each other, then they fall in love at first sight: I alternate full shot, medium shot and close-up to make scenes more dynamic and narrative. Two cats enter the scene by each side (long shot ); When they are close with each other, a current of electricity forms a heart that appears between the eyes of two cats (Close-up); Then, two cats lean on each other and kiss, we can see hearts flying in the air. (medium shot)
Two cats in love get married. A close-up shot on their wedding wresth make people see their names clearly. Then the newlyweds enter into scene from left with a middle shot, and guests come into scene from right side with another middle short. Finally , a long shot give us a global view of the wedding scene while the couple are kissing and ribbons are falling under guests’ applause.
To make «call to action» scene concrete and narrative, I try to present it through a little story : a grandma call to the veterinary assistant to make an appointment for the sterilization of her cat: Close-up shot on the phone ringing, long shot on teleconversation between grandma and the veterinary asssistant and Zoom on the appointment calendar where the names of cats appear gradually on it. Then, we end the scene by displaying contact information on a mobile phone while its keys light up one after another.
